Ghost in the Pale

One time, my brother asked me to baby sit my two nieces while he and my sister-in-law went out to run some errands during the day. I obliged since it was a weekend and I had nothing to do at home.

I was there early in the morning and had time to take a bath. When I was through with my bath, I had to fill up the pail that I used with water so that the next person can use it.

I was standing there inside their bathroom, when I noticed that it was taking some time for the pail to fill up. I looked at the water and observed that no matter how much water was coming from the faucet, the water level inside the pail was not moving.

This went on for about five or ten minutes until I decided to turn off the spigot. After saying a short prayer, I turned it on again and the water level began to rise. I was so relieved and after filling the pail up, went outside the bathroom.
