Lake Champlain Champ - Mrs Robert Green

Mrs. Robert A. Green did not have all the corroboration she really wanted when she reported seeing Champ of Lake Champlain, but that was not her fault.

At an unspecified date in 1971 Mrs. Green, her mother, and a friend were stopping at a hotel overlooking the lake. As they gazed at the tranquil waters, they saw a snakelike head and three dark humps gliding serenely by.

Seeking a witness outside her own little group, Mrs. Green called the hotel bartender to come and see it. He took one swift, incredulous look. Returning to his bar, he shook his head and firmly said: "I'll never say I saw it." (Janet and Colin Bord, Alien Animals, p.9)
